PSB*MARS: A Recap of the Minnesota AAHAM Payer Panel
This week, PSB*MARS joined local Minnesota Revenue Cycle and Administrative leaders at the highly anticipated Minnesota AAHAM Gopher Chapter Payer Panel Conference! We were looking for how locally our hospitals and clinics are adapting with new strategies and discussions. We continue to commit to staying current with industry trends, regulatory shifts, and technological advancements.
Why Attendance Was Key
The agenda was awesome, ranging from having multiple payers onsite to deliver Payer & Secondary Payer updates, to VA Payer topics, Price Transparency, Medicaid Payer Updates, Minnesota Hospital Updates and a lot more! Each session offered a lens into current state, changes, and the future within each organization. Each speaker presented a unique opportunity for our team to glean insights, engage with their leaders, and connect with new and current members.
Event Highlights
Among the standout sessions was both Medica & Health Partners providing deep dives into their organization and Payer & Secondary Payer updates. We appreciate them coming to St. Cloud and being able to engage with such important local payers.
Another highlight was Joe Schindler from the Minnesota Hospital Association with a wide-ranging presentation covering several important legislative updates and current state of the MHA. Joe did a great job on engaging with the attendees and listening to questions and providing feedback on the spot!
Immediate Benefits and Networking
The immediacy of the benefits from attending the Payer Panel conference is evident. We were able to form valuable connections with providers, presenters, and industry peers. We look forward to future collaborations. The insights gained have already sparked a series of conversations and action points, aimed at helping the members with however we can help their business office continue and find success.
